Join Involution's Scott Sullivan and Erik Dahl at this year's Midwest UX conference, in Grand Rapids October 17th through the 19th. Scott and Erik will be leading the workshop "Introduction to Arduino and the Internet of Things," on Thursday, October 17th. Conference passes and workshop tickets are currently still available.

Introduction to Arduino and the Internet of Things
This workshop will show you the basic Arduino ropes (such as Blink) as well as more advanced skills like buttons, potentiometers, and working with lots of LEDs. You should expect to build several Arduino projects. During the course of the half-day workshop you'll learn hot to plug a sensor into the Arduino, have that sensor communicate with your computer via Processing, and prototype your very own connected environments. You'll get real-world examples of projects and, as an added bonus, a 3D-printed MWUX Arduino/breadboard holder.

Be sure to check out the Midwest UX workshop page to know what you'll need to prepare for this workshop.
