SANTA CLARA, CA (U.S.) - September 10, 2009 - Involution Studios today announced the successful Beta release of the completely redesigned McAfee Total Protection suite. McAfee Inc, the world's largest dedicated security technology company, selected Involution Studios as their external partner on the project.

McAfee and Involution worked together through most of 2008. Involution worked closely with the core product, engineering and user experience organizations. The project is an example of McAfee's commitment for a superior customer experience.

During their work together Involution took McAfee through the full gambit of product design services. Beginning with research and iterative conceptual design the teams completed Involution's proprietary product architecture process, went through a variety of structural cycles and iterations, explored a myriad of visual design solutions, and created both design and engineering prototypes, thus enabling rapid progress on the design, allowing McAfee's engineering team to move more directly into the software code itself. Additionally, Involution's expert team of engineers helped McAfee re-organize their engineering process and organization, moving the product onto a modern and scalable platform and framework.
