LOS ANGELES, CA (U.S.) – January 27, 2011 – Involution Studios Creative Director Juhan Sonin was announced today as a featured speaker at the TTI Vanguard Design as Strategy Conference. Joining other thought leaders such as Frank Gehry, Hartmut Esslinger and Alan Kay, Sonin will be presenting on the topic "The future of non-invasive diagnostics and the designer tenets for new services."
Non-invasive diagnostics are the future of not just medicine, but a revolution in human wellness. "When we were conceptualizing (our experiment), we saw the ultimate device should be noninvasive, giving you the molecular details of the disease going on inside the body," said pioneering researcher, Dr. Howard Chang of Stanford University's Comprehensive Cancer Center in Wired Magazine. Already,invasive cardiological and cancer related treatments - among many others - are changing due to non-invasive procedures.
Sonin is a recognized expert in design for health and wellness, providing consultation to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
