COLUMBUS, OH (U.S.)—July 26th, 2012—Involution Studios, a software design consultancy based in Boston, MA, announced the opening of a second studio location in Columbus, OH.

The studio space is filled with lofty ideas and evidence of making things.
The Columbus studio will be led by Erik Dahl, who is active in design community organization and thought leadership, including serving as a local leader for the Interaction Design Association (IxDA) and founder of the Midwest UX Conference. “Erik is an expert in design strategy and research,” said Juhan Sonin, principal and Creative Director of Involution, Boston. “Not only will his knowledge and experience uplevel our strategic practice and services, his passion for making and big thinking aligns with our design philosophy and practice.”
Erik's experience is primarily, but not limited to digital products. With the Columbus studio, he will be picking up and extending the vision of Involution by continuing to create world class software and helping clients create meaningful engagements with people. As a former anthropologist, Erik comes to software design from the perspective of thoughoughly understanding both human and business needs as well as technology and design capabilities.
Erik and his team will help you do everything from understanding unmet needs and opportunities in the marketplace to detailed design, prototyping and the production of your digital products and services.
The Columbus studio is also holding open Office Hours at the studio every Thursday from 4-6pm for anyone to come in and get help or critique for their products, designs, or ideas.
