Runnan is Involution Studios' newest game for iPhone and iPad. Designed and developed by Robert Audroue and Michael Moffitt, Runnan follows an armless carrot who must navigate a challenging landscape of crazy shapes, curious people, and freakishly fantastic food. Runnan challenges its players’ concentration and timing and makes no apologies for being difficult.

“Today, games are too easy,” says Michael Moffitt. “We didn’t want to create a game that just spoon fed you what you needed to know. You’re supposed to play the game and discover things along the way.” Runnan reminds players of what games used to be when players felt a sense of accomplishment for getting through levels. Runnan rewards its dedicated players with more game play, increasingly eccentric scenery, and unlocked challenges.

“It's different than most other games I've seen,” says Robert Audroue. “It’s simple to play, but we wanted to make it quirky and intentionally crude.” What users notice first is the wild landscape that changes just before the game begins to feel like one majestic ode to Pop Art. Unlike most other games the graphic filters are meant to obstruct game play and challenge focus as players advance. Each new play brings new adventures and surprises.
